Nightlife in Miami
Miami Nightlife shakes, rattles and rolls with dozens of popular clubs, bars and hangouts. Each Miami neighborhood has its own distinct. At night, South Beach comes alive. European and South American in taste, people eat late and then party. Miami's nightlife is still unsurpassed. Drinking tends to take second place to eating and partying, but a number of friendly local bars double as very good live music venues. Reggae is particularly strong; Miami has a sizable Jamaican population, and local as well as flown-in acts appear regularly. Miami's clubs - especially those specializing in salsa or merengue and hosted by Spanish-speaking DJs - are among the hippest in the world, with most of the action at South Beach.
Miami's club scene and nightlife has something to suit everyone, from young people who want to dance all night to older couples who prefer to sit at a quiet table with a bottle of wine and relax. Nightlife in Miami is very diverse and offers something for everyone, including plenty of mainstream discos where you can dance all night long.
